RESOLUTION #99-28
WHEREAS, the Michigan Community Corrections Act of 1988 (PA511) authorizes the establishment of a Community Corrections Advisory Board (CCAB) and provides funding for Community Corrections programming; and
WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Community Corrections Plan and FY 1998-1999 Funding Application was approved by the CCAB, Ingham County Board of Commissioners, Lansing City Council, and State Office of Community Corrections; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Community Corrections Plan and FY 1998-1999 Funding Application provides for probation residential treatment services; and
WHEREAS, the County entered into an agreement with the State of Michigan for probation residential services in an amount up to $584,000; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to contract, the County may enter into subcontracts for the purpose of implementing planned programs and services identified in the Community Corrections Comprehensive Plan and Application; and
WHEREAS, the Subcontractor is willing to provide the services required by the County.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes entering into a subcontract with National Council on Alcoholism/Lansing Regional Area, Inc. from March 1, 1999 through September 31, 1999 for probation residential treatment services at a per diem rate of $40 per day.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the total of all probation residential services reimbursements for all subcontracting probation residential services vendors shall not exceed Ingham County's overall PA511 funding allocation of $584,000 for these services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners and County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract and/or subcontract authorized by this resolution, subject to approval as to form by the County Attorney.
