INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT WITH EAST LANSING FOR EMERGENCY DISPATCH COMMUNICATION AND COMPUTER EQUIPMENT

RESOLUTION #99-44

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners has established a 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Services fund for Management and System Improvements to the County emergency dispatch system; and

WHEREAS, the East Lansing 911 Center working with their communications and Data Processing company's have developed a proposal to upgrade their Computer Aided Dispatch and telephone system.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes

the expenditure of up to $152,531 from the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Services fund for Management and System Improvements for the East Lansing 911 Center.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
