RESOLUTION HONORING SPECIAL DEPUTY PAT CESARZ
RESOLUTION #99-48
WHEREAS, Pat Cesarz was a 1998 graduate of the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Senior Citizen Police Academy; and
WHEREAS, in 1989 she had retired after 25 years from Michigan State University as a building manager; and
WHEREAS, in 1998 she was sworn in as a Special Deputy by Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth; and
WHEREAS, Special Deputy Pat Cesarz faithfully served as a volunteer member of the Ingham County Disabled Parking Enforcement Unit and volunteered numerous hours of service to Ingham County and it's citizens; and
WHEREAS, she was known for her friendliness, courtesy, dedication, and desire to help the Disabled by enforcing the laws and ordinances pertaining to Disabled Parking; and
WHEREAS, she met a tragic death due to a sudden and unforeseen illness; and
WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners, along with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Disabled Parking Enforcement Unit, and her countless number of friends mourn her loss together with her family.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Ingham County board of Commissioners hereby honors the memory of Special Deputy Pat Cesarz and offer her bereaved family our deepest sympathy and sincere appreciation for the life and contributions she has made to Ingham County and it's citizens; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution will serve as a permanent reminder of the appreciation for the life and contributions of Special Deputy Pat Cesarz.
