RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE REQUEST TO VACATE MILLER STREET IN THE CITY OF MASON

RESOLUTION #99-51

WHEREAS, a request has been received by the City of Mason from Creative Housing, Inc. to initiate proceedings to vacate the public road right of way of Miller Street in the city; and

WHEREAS, the Road Commission has reviewed the request and has offered alternative solutions; and

WHEREAS, the alternative solutions are preferable to the requested vacation of the street.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners supports the position of the Road Commission as stated in their letter of March 5, 1999 to the City of Mason.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution be transmitted to the City of Mason, Creative Housing, Inc. And the Ingham County Road Commission.
