INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE INGHAM COUNTY FRIEND OF THE COURT CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

RESOLUTION #99-63

WHEREAS, the State Legislature has passed and the Governor has signed PA 366 of 1996, known as the Friend of the Court Act, which requires counties to establish Citizens Advisory Committees; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners formed a Citizens Advisory Committee in May of 1997; and

WHEREAS, this Citizens Advisory Committee has a vacancy in the member of the general public slot; and

WHEREAS, the County Attorney's office has opined that a member of the Board of Commissioners may serve on this Citizens Advisory Committee.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners does hereby appoint Anne Smiley to the vacancy in the general public designation, effective immediately.
