INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY CLERICAL HELP

AT THE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER

RESOLUTION #99-64

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Emergency Operations Center has identified a number of projects that need attention in order to update several emergency preparedness planning documents; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County LEPC and the Sheriff's office have recommended that clerical assistance be provided to the Emergency Operations Center in order to facilitate these projects.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes a temporary half-time Clerk Typist II position for up to six months at the Ingham County Emergency Operations Center in order to update several emergency preparedness planning documents.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes up to $6,231 from the 1999 Contingency Fund to finance these clerical services.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Controller to amend the appropriate 1999 budgets in accordance with this resolution.
