RESOLUTION ACCEPTING OWNERSHIP OF PARK PROPERTY FROM THE

INGHAM COUNTY ROAD COMMISSION



RESOLUTION #99-68



WHEREAS, various parcels of property prior to 1970 acquired by Ingham County for park purposes were recorded as owned by the Board of County Road Commissioners; and



WHEREAS, since the Road Commission no longer functions as the Board of Park Trustees, it has recommended that the property be recorded in the name of Ingham County; and



WHEREAS, the Corporation Counsel has prepared seven Quit Claim Deeds which have been executed by the County Road Commission.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners accepts ownership of the following described properties:



Property #1

Lot No. 20 of Crescent Beach Addition to Sunset Cove, according to the recorded plat thereof, subject to restrictions and easements of record.



Property #2

Lot Twenty-One (21) of Crescent Beach Addition to Sunset Cove, according to the recorded plat thereof, situated in the Township of Meridian, Ingham County, Michigan.



Property #3

Lots twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four and twenty-five (22, 23, 24, and 25) of Crescent Beach Addition to Sunset Cove, Meridian Township, Ingham County, Michigan, also a parcel of land described as commencing at the west one-eighth (1/8) post of the northeast quarter (1/4) of Section Two (2), Town Four (4) North, Range One (1) West, and running thence south eighty-eight degrees fifty-six minutes (8856') east along the north one-eighth line of said Section two hundred fifty-four and four tenths (254.4) feet, thence south twenty-three degrees forty-nine minutes (2349') west six hundred fifty and two tenths (650.2) feet, thence north eighty-three degrees thirty-six minutes (8336') west fifty (50) feet, thence south seventy-three degrees thirty-eight minutes (7338') west three hundred nineteen and no/10 (319.0) feet, thence north eighty-eight degrees thirty-three minutes (8833') west thirty-eight and eight tenths (38.8) feet, thence north sixteen degrees eleven minutes (1611') east two hundred fifty and eight tenths (250.8) feet, thence north no degrees forty-two minutes (042') west four hundred forty-seven and nine

Lot twenty-six (26) Crescent Beach Addition to Sunset Cove, Meridian Township. Also, commencing at the west one-eighth post of the northeast quarter (1/4) of Section Two (2), Town Four (4) North, Range One (1) West, and running thence north eighty-eight (88) degrees fifty-six (56) minutes west three hundred thirty-eight and three tenths (338.3) feet, thence south no (0) degrees forty-two (42) minutes east four hundred forty-seven and nine tenths (447.9) feet to a point, said point being the place of beginning, thence south sixteen (16) degrees eleven (11) minutes west two hundred fifty and eight tenths (250.8) feet, thence north eighty-eight (88) degrees forty-two (42) minutes west one hundred fifty-two and three tenths (152.3) feet, thence north seven (7) degrees forty-seven (47) minutes east three hundred twenty-three and two tenths (323.2) feet, thence south sixty-five (65) degrees eight (08) minutes east one hundred ninety-six and six tenths (196.6) feet to place of beginning, except the north 12 feet (right-of-way for Lake Drive), containing one and twelve one hundredths (1.12 acres), more or less, minus the road right-of-way.



Property #5

All that part of the East one-half (�) of Section Nine (9), Town Two (2) North, Range One (1) West, lying south of the center of the Parker Road (so-called), being now known as State Highway No. 36, except a strip of land off the East side thereof, sixty-three rods, eighteen and one-half (18-1/2) links in width East and West, and extending from the South line of Section Nine (9), to the center of the Parker Road.



Property #6

The north 118.5 feet of the following described parcel:

Beginning at the SE corner of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 9 in T2N, R1W, thence north nine (9) rods, thence west six and one-half (6-1/2) rods, thence south 61 feet, thence southwesterly six (6) rods to a point twenty (20) feet north of the south Section line, thence west parallel with said Section line to the east line of Barnes Street, thence southeasterly along the east line of Barnes Street to the said Section line, thence easterly along said Section line to the place of beginning.



Property #7

Beginning at a point thirty-two rods east and ten rods north of the point where the north line of section thirty-one in Town Three North, Range Two West, intersects the east bank of Grand River; thence south twenty rods; thence west to Grand River; thence along said river to a point where an east and west line drawn through the point of beginning intersects said river; thence east to place of beginning; together with and subject to all easements, privileges, rights and agreements described in a certain deed to Edwin W. Bishop and wife recorded in Liber 278 of deeds at page 51; and together with and subject to all easements, privileges, rights and agreements described in a certain deed to Mark T. Woodruff recorded in Liber 278 of deeds at page 389.

And also hereby conveying the North forty and ninety-six one hundredths (40.96) acres of the North one-half of the North-east quarter of Section Thirty-one, Town Three North, Range Two West, except the East ten hundred and nineteen (1019) feet thereof and also except portions thereof heretofore conveyed by deeds recorded in the Ingham County Register of Deeds' office in Liber 278 of deeds on page 389 and in Liber 316 of deeds on page 52. Subject to flowage and driveway rights as contained in former deeds. All of the above described land hereby conveyed being in the said Township of Delhi, Ingham County, Michigan.
