RESOLUTION AMENDING INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS'

RESOLUTION #99-007 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION CONTRACT (ACC) BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES

DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND THE COUNTY

OF INGHAM FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A SECTION 8 PROGRAM

RESOLUTION #99-69

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Housing Commission has determined that contracting out the administration of the Section 8 program to the Plymouth Housing Authority for a period of three (3) years while training is obtained and the Community Development Block Grant Program is started would be in the best interests of the Housing Commission and the residents of Ingham County that would qualify for the Section 8 program; and

WHEREAS, Resolution #99-007 allows for a one (1) year contract with the option of renewal for a second year with Plymouth Housing Authority.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Housing Commission is requesting the authority to enter into a three (3) year contract with Plymouth Housing Commission therefore amending the above-mentioned resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other portions of Resolution #99-007 would remain unchanged.
