INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF 1999 CIP FUNDS AND APPROVAL FOR CONTRACT TO REPLACE HOT WATER HEATER AT JUVENILE DETENTION FACILITY

RESOLUTION #99-71

WHEREAS, funds are needed to cover the emergency repair cost of the boiler at the Annex, and the repair and replacement of the hot water heater at the Juvenile Detention Facility; and

WHEREAS, funds have been identified in the current 1999 CIP budget.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes entering into a contract with Myers Plumbing & Heating, Inc. for $20,560.00 to replace the water heater at the Juvenile Detention Facility.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to amend the 1999 budget and to transfer up to $34,080.06 to the appropriate line items to cover the emergency repair cost of the boiler at the Annex and the repair and replacement of the hot water heater at the Juvenile Detention Facility.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Board and County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
