RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A REORGANIZATION OF WORK IN THE PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING AND THE REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT UNIT AND TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF A POSITION

RESOLUTION #99-79

WHEREAS, the Health Department has reorganized the work in the Registration and Enrollment Unit; and

WHEREAS, the reorganization resulted in a substantial change in the work of a clerical position in the Public Health Nursing Bureau; and

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has reviewed the position and has recommended that position HLHNUR029 should appropriately be classified as Community Health Representative II, rather than Community Health Representative I; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer has recommended that the Board of Commissioners support the reorganization of work and change the classification of the position as recommended by the Human Resources Department.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners supports the reorganization of work in the Registration and Enrollment Unit and in Public Health Nursing.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that position HLHNUR029 be classified as a Community Health Representative II, effective April 12, 1999.
