WHAT WE DO...

Appointed by Human Services Committee for 3 year terms This group serves as advisors to the County Board regarding the impact of actions and policies of the County on Women in Ingham County and researches and recommends better ways of meeting the needs of women through County resources. The Commission works with the Equal Opportunity Committee in recommending methods of overcoming discrimination against women in County employment and civil and political recognition of women's accomplishments and contributions to Ingham County.
