Ingham County Courthouse

County Clerk

Did you know the County Clerk maintains two offices?

The main office is located at the County Courthouse in downtown Mason and our branch office is located in Lansing at the Veterans Memorial Courthouse 313 W. Kalamazoo, on the corner of Kalamazoo and Walnut. Our hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and for your convenience we remain open through the lunch hour at both locations. At our Mason location, there is free on street parking around the building. In Lansing there is free parking across from the Courthouse and metered parking on the street. At either location our staff will be happy to assist you with vital records, filing assumed names, co-partnerships, and issuing and filing marriage licenses.  In addition, we process concealed weapons applications, notary bonds, passports, and passport photos. Currently, passport processing time is approximately 4-6 weeks and Concealed Weapons applications are taking about 3-10 weeks for approval. Our office is dedicated to offering prompt and efficient service to get you in and out of the door quickly and courteously.  Still have questions? Feel free to give us a call at (517) 676-7201.

My staff and I are dedicated to providing quality services to the citizens of Ingham County.  If I may be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact me.

As of June 10, 2010 the Lansing office will no longer accept C.C.W. applications. You must apply at our Mason office.
