Physician Nutrition Education Program

The Physician Nutrition Education Program is designed to enhance the communication with target physicians, emphasizing building collegial relationships between RDs and Physicians by delivering nutrition education and services. The workshop is comprised of skills development in getting the appointment, making an effective presentation, and establishing and maintaining an ongoing relationship with physicians and his/her staff.

Handouts include both camera-ready physician and patient education materials, along with valuable physician contact materials, such as suggested letters and ideas to help RDs break through the "communication clutter" to get their message heard.

Goal: Provide RDs with strategies to help them
