International Travel Immunizations

The Immunization Clinic provides international travel information and immunizations on an appointment basis. The cost of the appointment is $30 per person plus the price of vaccines.

It is recommended that you be up to date on all current routine vaccines, such as Td and MMR, before traveling anywhere in the world. Additional vaccines may be recommended based on your individual itinerary, including the order of travel to each country and specific living conditions expected.

We recommend scheduling your appointment  approximately 4-6 weeks before departure so that your body can develop antibody response to the vaccine and adequate time is available to receive multi-dose series vaccines. Also, entry requirements (countries where Yellow Fever vaccine is required—not just recommended) the vaccine must be received a minimum of 10 days before arrival.

During the travel appointment we will provide you with information on the correct anti-malarial medication to use for the area you are traveling. Follow up with your health care provider for the written prescription.
