2002 COPS MORE GRANT PROGRAM

At their November 12, 2002 meeting, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approved a Resolution Authorizing Entering into Contract with the Office of the United States Department of Justice Programs for the 2002 Cops More Grant Program.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office applied for and has been approved to receive a 2002 Cops More Grant from the Office of the United States Department of Justice Programs. The award amount of the 2002 Cops More Grant is $60,924.00 with a local match requirement of $20,308.00, for a total project of $81,232.00.

The $81,232.00 will be utilized for purchasing new technology for In-car computer systems, including mobile data computers and infrastructure. The Ingham County Sheriff's Office's twenty-five percent local match of $20,308.00 will come from the Ingham County Contingency fund.
