DENTIST #07-010  (2008 Rates)         $75,691 - $90,850

 

Responsibilities: Provides direct dental care by diagnosing dental disease or injury, establishing treatment, planning and performing appropriate fillings, extractions and related procedures.  Provides supervision to Dental Assistant(s) and Dental Hygienist(s) and other clinic personnel.  Serves as clinic team member participating in meetings and in reviewing clinic productivity.  Works with staff to establish scheduling procedures and establishing guidelines for care and treatment.  Performs other related duties as assigned. 

 

Essential Functions: With or without accommodations, this employee must be capable of utilizing all types of hand tools and hand pieces associated with operating a dental practice.  Must have the visual capabilities to perform a detailed oral examination.  Must be able to listen to and understand patient complaints and concerns regarding oral hygiene and dental health issues.  Must be licensed as a Dentist in the State of Michigan.

 

Degree/Experience :  Must have D.D.S. from an accredited school of dentistry and be licensed to practice as a dentist in Michigan. Must submit Dental School transcripts.  2 years of dental practice experience required.  Additional experience in areas such as a community dentistry program desired. Must submit a resume and cover letter with application.  Must submit a copy of your Dental License with your application.
