Riverbend Natural Area is located approximately 15 minutes from Burchfield Park. Restrooms and nature trails can be found at this canoe landing site. Riverbend Natural Area makes for an excellent stopping place while canoeing. Canoers and kayakers can stop in and walk the beautiful nature trails.
In the summer months, hiking and biking are permitted on the nature trails. Explore mature forests, fields in various stages of succession, a creek, wooded flood plains, and river bank habitats.
In the winter, trails are groomed for cross-country skiing!
Pets and alcoholic beverages are PROHIBITED in Riverbend Natural Area.
The Park Opens One Half Hour before Sunrise for Pedestrian Access and 8:00am for Vehicle Access. The Park Closes One Half Hour after Sunset, unless otherwise posted.
