The Ingham County Sheriff's Civil Division does service of:

  • Foreclosure Orders and Postings
  • Levys

You may instruct the issuing Court that you wish the Sheriff's Office Civil Division to complete your service, bring the process into the office, or mail or ship your process to the following address:

Office Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Civil Division also conducts the Sheriff's Mortgage Foreclosure Sale every Thursday morning (except Legal Holidays) from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Courthouse located at 313 W. Kalamazoo Ave., Lansing, MI.
