Visiting the shelter is the best way to determine if we have your pet. It is a good idea for you to view this site everyday, however mistakes can be made due to discrepancies in description, therefore, you are encouraged to visit the shelter at least twice a week. Pets found dead are not listed here. You must call or come to the shelter for a complete listing.

The following link will give you our latest list of pets being housed at the Ingham County Animal Shelter and those lost, sick and injured pets needing care which we have taken to local veterinarians. Keep in mind the inventory is constantly changing due to adoptions, redemptions and those pets which must otherwise be removed from inventory.  If you see a pet on the list which you believe is yours, it is important for you to contact us immediately by phone at 676-8373 during normal office hours.
