Akia Burnett, 4-H Youth Extension Educator

Akia joined the 4-H team in February 2007.  Her primary responsibility is developing outreach programs in underserved areas by developing 4-H programs and recruiting 4-H club members and adult volunteers.  Akia’s outreach programming efforts are delivered through after school programs, camps, neighborhood network centers and collaborative programming with other community agencies.  Akia can be reached at (517) 676-7301 or via email at burnet43@msu.edu

Marilyn Brumbaugh, 4-H Secretary

Marilyn joined our 4-H team in October, 2000.  Marilyn supports and assists the 4-H Youth Educators and Program Assistants throughout every aspect of the county program. Her main responsibilities include facilitating communication between our office and volunteers as well as enrolling new 4-H clubs, members and leaders. Stephanie Cluley, 4-H Program Assistant

Stephanie joined the 4-H team in April, 2002. Her main responsibility is supporting 4-H outreach and expansion clubs. She develops collaborations with other youth serving agencies and provides a high level of support to all staff or volunteers interested in leading these clubs. As volunteers are identified and trained, Stephanie will help them to transition into the role of club leader so that they will be maintained as a sustained 4-H club. Ginger Kenney-Sweet, 4-H Program Assistant

Ginger has been a 4-H Program Assistant with Ingham County Michigan State University since 1984.  Her main responsibilities include coordinating sustained 4-H programming, club development, leader and member training.  Ginger also coordinates the citizenship, leadership, international programs and inclusion programming. Ae Kue  -  Children, Youth & Family Secretary
