Constitution Livestock Committee Roster Representative Application Livestock Committee Minutes   September 21, 2009 July 20, 2009 May 18, 2009 March 16, 2009 January 19, 2009 November 3, 2008			The Ingham County 4-H & FFA Livestock Committee serves to support all aspects of 4-H and FFA youth livestock projects in Ingham County, including, but not limited to education, administration, and the Junior Livestock Auctions at the Ingham County Fair.  Animals sold at the Large Animal Sale are: Beef, Dairy Market, Sheep, Swine, Dairy Feeder and Supreme & Reserve Dairy Champion Milk.  Animals sold at the Small Animal Sale are: Goats, Poultry, Rabbits and Goats Milk.  The Livestock Committee works cooperatively with the Ingham County Fair, the Ingham County Michigan State University Extension staff, and the Ingham County FFA Chapters to foster the development of youth.  The work of the Livestock Committee serves to encourage and support 4-H & FFA youth to develop life skills through raising, producing and marketing quality animal projects.  These activities help to create and sustain the interest of youth in animal agriculture as well as prepare youth to become productive, contributing citizens in their communities.  Meeting Schedule The committee meets the 3rd Monday of September, November, January, March, May, and July.
