MEMORY ALBUM GUIDELINES
Skills to teach:
- The importance of preserving memories
- Photo journaling
- Photo documentation
- The importance of using archival quality
Guidelines:
General:
- Albums and supplies must be acid free and photo safe
- Albums must be neat
- Pages must be in order
- A 3x5 card including the students age, year in project, brand or make of albums and
supplies and what they learned with this project, must accompany the album.
1st year students:
- Album 7x7 or larger.
- Must have a title page.
- Must have at least 15 sides completed
- Must have photo journaling on each page. (Example the Who Jill Martin my friend, Where
Disneyworld in 2003, what on the Priate of Caribbean ride.
- Must have at least 1 piece of memorabilia (cards, awards, brochures, etc.)
2nd year students:
- Must show where started 2nd year of pages or start a new album.
- Must have at least 15 new sides added.
- Instead of heritage page A nice picture of family. 1 picture on page with more
than 3 sentences telling story of family.
3rd year and up students:
- A new album with 1 specific event (holidays or vacation story of family, school years,
4-H years, sports, dance, yourself, or etc.).
- Must include a title page.
- Must include photo journaling and documentation of all pages.
- Must include memorabilia as it pertains.(Play tickets, ribbions, and programs from above
events).
