The Michigan Llama Association is sponsoring a llama rodeo on Saturday, April 12, 2003 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eaton County Fairgrounds in Charlotte. There will be a wide variety of educational topics covered by leading resource people. Topics include llama health, from the judge's eye, shearing and toenail trimming, showmanship, performance, packing, grooming and more. There will be a potluck lunch. Table service will be furnished. Participants may bring their own animals but must provide their own stalling. Directions to the fairgrounds are take exit 60 off I-69, turn west toward Charlotte. Turn left at first stop light (Cochran Avenue). The fairgrounds is 1/4 mile on the left.
