Enclosed in this packet you will find a variety of information pertaining to the 4-H County awards program. Please take time to read about each award and its requirements. For those awards that require someone to be nominated, please consider nominating someone!
The awards process was modified last year to simplify the application process. A few changes have been made this year to a couple awards to improve the application process. Member and Leader can look through the award options to determine the qualifications and what forms need to be completed. A MEMBER ONLY HAS TO FILL OUT EACH FORM ONCE EVEN IF USING IT TO APPLY FOR MULTIPLE AWARDS. PLEASE FILL OUT THE COVER SHEET ONE PER PERSON TO BE STAPLED TO THE TOP OF YOUR ENTRY.
The 4-H office automatically creates certificates recognizing 4-H Leaders for their years of service. This award is given to the leader at the Member/ Leader Banquet. An invitation will be sent to the leaders inviting them to the banquet.
If a member needs help filling out the forms call the 4-H office and an Ambassador or Leader may be able to help.
If you have any questions about the awards process call Stephanie at (517) 676-7300.
All awards are due on October 1 (current year) by 5:00 to the 4-H office.
