Extension ANR Staff Members

Dan Hudson
Agriculture Educator
I was raised on a farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and had have enjoyed agriculture for as long as I can remember. My interest in hunting, fishing and the out-of-doors in general contributed to my interest in studying biology at Cedarville University in Ohio. After completing my degree in biology and gaining experience in related occupations, I came to MSU to pursue a degree in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences graduate program. While at MSU I married my wife, Julia, and we now have two young children.

Some of my professional interests include sustainable agriculture (in general), integrated crop-livestock agriculture, family farms, and international agricultural development. Personal interests include family and church activities, hunting, fishing, running, and traveling. My experience with MSU Extension has been very positive and I look forward to working with the residents of Ingham County.
