WHAT WE DO...
Under the direction of the Board of Commissioners, the County Controller is the chief
fiscal and administrative officer. The Controller's responsibilities include directing the
central administrative functions of the County government and acting as liaison on behalf
of the Board of Commissioners between County officers, department heads, and the general
public. A major service provided by the Controller's office is preparation and execution
of a balanced County budget.
