LONG TERM OBJECTIVE: ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY

Description: Citizens will have access to the emergency response capabilities of police, fire, and medical agencies throughout the county.

The safety of the public will be enhanced by assuring that primary law enforcement service will be provided in all areas of the county.

Protection of the public from the dangers and nuisances of domesticated animals and livestock will be enhanced by adequate enforcement and periodic updating of the county's Animal Control Ordinance.

The county will be prepared to respond to disasters in a timely and cost effective manner.
