Promotion of Women
(Long-term Objective: Assist in Meeting Basic Needs)
The function of the Women's Commission is to advise the County Board regarding the impact of the Board's actions and policies concerning women and to research and recommend better ways of meeting the needs of women through County resources. The County provides office space, part-time clerical support, and various supplies for the Women's Commission.
