Ingham County is planning its 154th
Annual Fair. This event involves families from all over
the county from Lansing to Stockbridge. The Fair plays a
very important role in the community and the county. To
have a successful Fair, the Fair Board works very
closely with the 4-H and FFA Clubs in the area to give young
people from age 5 to 19 the opportunity to display
skills learned through their club, and to earn
recognition for their work at the Fair. The
Fair also provides a way for many artisans and
collectors to demonstrate their talents.
The Fairgrounds are maintained and rented during the off-season for horse shows, sports shows, R.V. shows, automotive sales,
rabbit shows, dog shows, craft shows and equipment
consignment auctions, all bringing
thousands of visitors to the region.
