WHAT WE DO...
The Ingham
County Human Resources Office
is responsible for implementing:
Various
policies and programs regarding Labor Relations and
Contact negotiations throughout the County;
Establishing and implementing sound Employees Relations
programs and policies for employee
development and retention; Recruiting, screening,
interviewing, referring and selection of the most
qualified applicant for vacant position postings; and
advising department heads and elected officials
on issues regarding employer and employee rights,
discipline and sound labor policy judgment.
The mission of the
Ingham County Human Resources' Department is to ensure
an efficient and
motivated work force by promoting
positive labor/management relations, recruiting and retaining
high
quality, well trained, culturally diverse employees
for Ingham County's departments and agencies.
