LAPPG's Purpose:

F oster the advancement in the public purchasing profession;

P romote a supplier pool representative of the Lansing area business tax base;

P rovide opportunities for the exchange of ideas and information among persons interested or engaged in the field of public purchasing;

D evelop standards and specifications for purchasing and to encourage the concept of cooperative buying.
