Volunteers and others contribute in so many ways.

Never to Young to Help

Never to young to help the animals. Autumn
Bennet asked her friends and family to
donate money to help the animals instead of
gifts for her first communion.  Autumn attended
the volunteer training at the Shelter and is now
volunteering with her Mom.  They hope to
give the animals a better life while they are
waiting for a new home.

Girl Scout Troop #209

Delinda Benson on behalf of Troop #209

donated 13 homemade cat scratch posts.

What a great idea!!

The Yarners

Cheryl and Diane from the First Presbyterian Church in Mason, create these beautiful blankets and beds for our kitties.  The beds and blankets are used in the Shelter and at Adoption Events around town.

  • Kids From The Area Helping Pets

Leslie Middle School students ( Carla, Tayler, Jordan, Jessica, Kody, Mac, Karen, Jordan, Wyatt, Nicole, Kristi, Austin and two little sisters) along with some parental supervision created three custom made dog houses
to help dogs in families that need a little assistance. A big thanks to them and all those who donated houses this year.

My name is Alexis Nikoloff and I brought in a $30 donation on Saturday, June 21st for the shelter.  I am eight years old and raised this money during a garage sale in which I sold my old toys, books, and clothes.  I love all animals, but especially enjoy cats.  My cat Calvin, 16, passed away last year, and my dog, Kilbey, 12, passed away in February.  I still have my dog, Cassie, who my parents adopted in 1998 from your shelter.  I hope my donation helps these animals and I hope to offer our home to a special friend soon.

Helping us help them makes the difference.

    Come see the changes.
